Love this album. It’s a bummer that they didn’t continue with this style.

I totally get what you mean. I remember after I heard The Jester Race and it became one of my favorite albums, I went straight for Colony and for whatever reason I just didn't "get" it. It was too different from TJR which was what I was expecting. I love all four of their classic albums now though. Whoracle is amazing and I can definitely see why so many people on this site say it's their best album. For me its probably my second or third favorite. As for this album, it has a lot of nostalgia for me because I used to listen to it a lot in high school. It's probably not a 5 objectively speaking.

Some of those riffs are melodeath at the peak, way too good.

So this will remain In Flames' last great album for the remainder of their career huh

Yeah, this is like the only good post-Clayman album by them.

And there's a 99% chance it will stay that way.

I've learned to live by "never say never" but there's little hope.

'Crawl Through Knives' was my auto-play profile song for like a year before I changed it to 'Zombie Autopilot' by Unearth.

My first In Flames album. Fond memories of this one.
Saw them a couple of weeks ago at Graspop, they blew ass. So so boring.
