It's underrated in terms of the rest of their classic discography. Between the first six Ozzy albums and the first two Dio albums, this one is easily the least talked about.

Pretty much that. It has never been popular among fans either, I think. People know this because of Symptom and the silly artwork. Besides of that, people just think of this as weaker Sabbath, on the same level as Vol. 4



The band never played songs from this besides a butchered version of Symptom and a couple Megalomania performances 45 years ago

Which is kinda funny because most of the Dio Era of Sabbath pretty much ripped from Sabotage in terms of style. Honestly I think H&H would have sounded much different if this album didn't exist.

Interesting take. I've always seen H&H and Mob Rules as heavy metal closer to the NWOBHM style with what Dio brought from Rainbow. More operatic, melodic and with faster soloing, like Maiden or other bands from the early '80s



This one is proggier imo, like SBS



Both this one and Mob Rules are by far among the band's heaviest albums, I'll give it to you that they have that in common

Yeah. Without Sabotage I don't think Tony would have been as willing to jump head first into Heavy-Rainbow sounds with Dio. That really was the album that guided Iommi towards more Rock-led horizons. Heck I would say Sabotage had a bigger influence on 80's Heavy Metal than any of the Ozzy-era albums. It was so raw and jagged in it's production, along with it's more commercial sounding vocals from Ozzy. Point to me someone who says Sabotage didn't have an influence on British Steel or Angel Witch and I'll show you a damn liar.

Odd... I listen to this on youtube music and I can hear Geezer pretty well. It definitely is a bit softer than previous releases tho

IDK I feel like nobody ever really talks about Technical Ecstasy very much. At least I never here anyone talk about it. In comparison I have had Sabotage and Never Say Die come up in conversation before on podcasts or videos and such.

Odd [2] I love the bass in this.

I love everything and every moment about this. I can't pick a favourite, but this is easily in the top3 with Paranoid + Heaven And Hell.
