Second listen was already an improvement! I can see a classic hidden in here somewhere, time will tell whether it fully reveals itself to me. The vocals will take some getting used to for sure.
The bookends (the proper song bookends that is, not the short intro and outro tracks) are stunning for sure.

They're the two songs that hit me instantly too, weirdly enough. Then one by one, each song dug it's way into my skin. The hooks on here are secretly the greatest things ever, they just take some time to hit.
