Yeah, it is, but I ended up having 21 albums that were at least a 4 this year. Didn't think I would have that many, but in a way, that's a good thing as only the high 3.5's made the top 25 contributed to the staff list.

Enrique was touring the horse racing down under.

In other Foals related news (geddit?), Foals made the top 40 most played artists on LastFM in 2010. Good on em... Well deserved.

Nah, probably all those English. There were more Brits in the list than I thought there would be. Unfortunately, another horse came 1st... Ke$ha.

yeah there kinda was senor. its a shame parades didnt make it senor davis. enrique knows how you adore them (almost as much as emery!). though that probably never would happen anyways.

but tik tok is my jam! cant deny the ke$ha... but srsly if that many people are spinning that crap on last.fm imagine how many plays go unscrobbled. its sickening!

I love the Moody Blues inspired harmonies in After Glow.

Emery will be #1 in 2011.

Nice call omnipanzer. It's harmonies like that which initially go unnoticed on some of the so-called lesser songs on this album.

You see, a few people are seeing that as a negative... I see it as a positive... Probably because I think it's on a different level to every song released in 2010.

It's all about perspective.

I'm of the opinion that "Black Gold" trumps "Spanish Sahara" by a slight margin.

Title track is soooo catchy. Just bought Antidotes, I hope it is as good.

Black Gold was the real grower for me on this album, but it does NOT trump SS.

If you like the title track on this (& This Orient), you will absolutely love Antidotes... Even though overall it is a lot different to this album.

Wow, no kidding.

There has been a noticeable change in style between the two albums.

I like Antidotes but not quite as much, this is based on one listen though.

That "noticeable change in style" is what makes this album all the more outstanding.
