I like the flow and the story so much better on Demon Days. The music itself too actually. It's s classic to me, and this is great but uneven.

Plastic Beach is more eclectic which is cool, it contains some of their best tracks, but it's really uneven imo. They have never created a more coherent album than Demon Days.

On Melancholy Hill is the only thing I've listened to off this for years. Need to fix that. Such a great track though

It's certainly grown on me, I remember kinda hating it at first but it really grew on me over time. I'd imagine it was the same for a lot of other people. I'd love to bring it up someday but there's a few songs here and there I still don't quite gel with.

Same for me yeah. Didn't like it much at first, it's still a bit lacking imo but I really enjoy most of these tracks. There are just a few hiccups and as a whole it's a bit too much.
Personally don't have these problems with the debut and DD, although I can easily see others thinking those two don't flow well either.
