I haven't heard the remaster. Is it really that much better? I prefer the versions that appear on the live album. They sound amazing with all of the aggression played behind them and Reznors additional "fuck"s make them hit much harder

Even if he's trying to convey something dark and angry that's something a fat goth would write on their maths textbook in magic marker

Yeah you're not the first person to say you dislike the vocals and I completely understand why but he sings with so much passion that I can forgive the occasional bad line
Tell me with a straight face that you don't get chills when he screams "YOUR GOD IS DEAD AND NO ONE CARES" and that's just one example
The music is amazing agreed, he should do more stuff like A Warm Place
