In a nutshell: For the moment, Kezia>Fortress for me. For some reason I haven't been as objective as I normally am for these two albums; ratings are subject to change. I'll probably end up rating both albums 4.5 (I knocked Kezia down from a 5 today)

I think i changed my mind about this. It took awhile but i m liking this more than Kezia now.
After the first listen i was shocked by how bad i thought this was but it probably just caught me off guard. The more i listen the more i love.
Also, the keyboard solo is amazing and one of my favorite moments on the album along with the cat. I think for me its Wretch, Bone Marrow, Limb from Limb cause i count the end of Palms Read with this, then Palms Read.

The musicianship and vocals are better than Kezia, but Kezia has better lasting value and no filler IMO. All of my least favorite PTH songs are on this album (Spoils, the goddess tracks and The Dissentience). However, some of my favorites are on here too (Bone Marrow, Limb From Limb, Wretch). It's just not as solid as an album IMO.

Sorry cocaine i forgot your opinion was infallible and in being so greater than any other. Most of your comments wreak of fanboyism or my opinion is better than yours cause i know the band in real life-ism.
I'm sorry but those parts are two parts i look forward to most on the album. Not so much the cat but definately the keyboard solo. They are breaks from the non-stop destruction of the rest of the album. Im sure your next comment will be insulting to me and keep me receiving some of that endless ridicule and have nothing to do with the album also like most of your comments but i respect your opinion of the album and of me.

Yeah. I'm already tiring of it. And it's not because I've overplayed it; I haven't wanted to overplay it because I got tired of it. That sounds harsher than it really is - I love the album but it's already started to lose its flair to me.This Message Edited On 02.20.08

Fortress just seems to flow better for me. I feel like Kezia is a bit more random and hard to listen to thru-and-thru. I think it's just because I'm not a fan of his vocals in Kezia.
