Bale is so good in that role man, reminds me of a psychopathic Jim Carrey in the axe scene haha.

Used to have a huge bale boner but he hasnt been in any noteworthy roles lately, giving samey performances across the board

American hustle blows and exodus was also a turd

Bale is not very versatile imo but he's the perfect fit for Bateman. No one could have played that role better and more authentic. Movie is so much fun...

American Psycho will forever be his best performance

His performance in The Machinist and The Prestige was also great, but apart from those two it probably might be true. Don't know his complete filmography though... Might contain a hidden gem.

Yes, and Still Life will forever be best Opeth, and Blood Diamond will forever be Leonardo Di Caprio's best performance

DiCaprio has way more to offer than Blood Diamond imo. The Basketball Diaries, Gangs of New York, The Departed and The Wolf of Wall Street were all awesome movies and his performance was top-notch.

Disagree with all the ones you mentioned Davil, other than The Departed which comes really close, maybe tied.

Shutter Island is not bad but I think it was a bit predictable. Might have to rewatch it though...

Watched it only once in full but I had the feeling the story wasn't very inventive or surprising. Didn't klick for me...
