Yeah, I fucking love Messe. It's one of Ulver's best non-black metal albums imo.



As far as this album goes, I think it would have been stronger if it had more clean sections. I think the softer moments on this rule, but the metal songs (Baying of the Hounds is my exception) are a lot weaker compared to their previous outings.

Ghost of Perdition is one of the best songs Opeth have ever written easily. Wreath is okay and By the Pain sucks.

Ghost of perdition is one of their best songs and the first 7 or 8 minutes of harlequin forest is incredible. Beneath the mire is amazing too
