lets put things into perspective, Dokken isn't far from shite, that are actually pretty close to shite, I give them a pass because of the hilarious song from Nightmare on Elm Street 3, Dream Warriors, and the drummer mickey dee who also played with Kind Diamond and Motorhead

As far as this album goes, should be held to a higher standard, it is easy to be the next new thing when people were used to Poison, white lion, cinderella, bonjovi, etc.. hard not to be better, they at least put an end to the worst period of popular music in history

Breaking the Chains (album) isn't that far from shite, it's pretty poor actually.
Tooth N' Nail and Under Lock and Key are great though. The former is almost straight up 80's metal rather than a hair metal.
