One of the moments that always makes my jaw drop: the transition from Broken Cog to The Abysmal Eye. Holy FUCK I cannot believe they nailed that the way they did. It feels like a very different song in context vs as a single because it only works after hearing all of Broken Cog. Basically this album makes my jaw drop a handful of times (yes physically, like confused as to how what I'm hearing is real) so I'm just gonna nickname it Jawdropper.

Yea on first listen that transition made me wanna go nuclear. Abysmal Eye was always a good song, but after Broken Cog it sounds like a killing spree.

Could not stand any of the four songs that I cut. These 9 songs that make up my "Immutable except actually good" playlist are basically just the normal 5-ish minute Meshuggah songs from the album, which is all I care about.

I cringe hard on armies of preposterous everytime I hear Jens belt out A PANDEMIC lol. Like its obvious their talking about covid. I hear about covid enough I dont wanna hear it from meshuggah LOL pretty corny tbh

Has an artist EVER made a lyrical reference to covid work??? Like I swear to god every time I hear some mention of a pandemic, masks, corona, etc. in a song its an instant turn off lmao

i like the way Denzel did it:

"We ain't tryna get sick, so we walk around with no face"

I instantly related it to Spirited Away, which I thought was kinda funny lol
