Had the most beautiful experience listening to Dark City, Dead Man this morning. My mind was totally clear, the sun was out and warmth coming through the windows directly onto me, had a mug of tea down by my feet, and had Dark City... playing through my headphones. Life might as well have been perfect in that moment.
Sorry to hear about your granddad, I'm sure you'll do him proud.
