"not sure how any of this is one dimensional"
Motion Sickness is literally the only song here that is even the tiniest bit different than the other songs, and she sings in THE EXACT SAME tone on every song she has ever done

um on the surface-level maybe but the moment you look at it in context the disaffectedness (which obviously has some thematic weight) gives way to the intricacies of her delivery
Like you're gonna tell me the love sickness of "Scott Street" versus her singing as a man committing sickening violence against a woman on "You Missed My Heart" have the same delivery?
Maybe I'm too biased from the lyrics imparting an obvious meaning onto it but imo anyone who takes more than a cursory listen to any of this can tell the (subtle) differences

Wouldve been cool if she belted some shit like she did in a live version of Georgia i saw, wouldve been a nice way to break up the monotony and amp up the emotion.

I agree, I see this version of Georgia as from someone who's been toying with the damn thing in the studio for three years to the point of exhaustion and the desperate need to mix things up, which imo fits the themes of the song
but yeah her live versions of it are insanely good

I completely respect the thematic relevancy behind her delivery and also genuinely wish someone would give her some Adderall

Yo if we're gonna through around Dylan comparisons on this site like candy I think "I Know the End" deserves some serious consideration

Through your eyes until it happened
Then I changed my mind

Finally got around to checking this,
thank god it doesn't sound as depressing as some of the lyrics do. On another note: it's fantastic, I'm reminded of Blue a lot, in terms of how varied yet often sparse the instrumentation can be.
