I see the weaknesses.. I just savor the strengths a whole lot. I mean, I love "Translating The Name" by Saosin, but I could objectively call it an overblown trendy pretentious and drop-d obsessed overtly short emo phag ep. I could also note that I find Hendrix's lyrics rarely seem more than dull to me. But their music is some of my fav shiz...
Just a thought.

Batter Up is a bit sleepy even for my liking and I don't hear the Jesus comparison at all. With that said, it's still a good song with nice parting lyrics. They could have done better for their final track though (assuming Nov 6 doesn't hold any surprises, like the second half of a double album or something).

lyrically it's 5/5 but I 100% agree Sowing, was rly hoping for a HUGEEEE closer but I think them not giving us that is what makes this album such a perfect final album. im torn haha

Anyone know who is opening for them on tour? I'm considering going to their show monday, but I would have to spend over 60 so deciding whether I really wanna pay that much to go to a show alone or not.
I stand by my comment on Batter Up being lame.. imo it is the Handcuffs of this album (last song and all!), perfect album and then super lame final song. Alright Handcuffs and Batter Up are still good, just nowhere near as good as the rest of their respective albums
