Early Beatles are enjoyable but psychedelic Beatles are the best surely. White album and Abbey rule hard

Nah, I think our new generation seems to get "Sgt Peppers vs Abbey Road" backwards. Abbey is more overrated,
though still good obviously. Take a look at the gobbles of great psych bands popping up from '67 to '69, and
they pretty much leave Abbey Road far behind. A lot of innovations credited to it are exaggerated.
Revolver and Peppers on the other hand were nothing but the most groundbreaking of their time.

From 1965 onwards every album has its charms. I've been on a Beatles binge recently.
They never fail.
She's leaving home is one of the greatest things ever.

this album isn't so great tbh. there's a pretty noticeable amount of filler and the flow is super awkward from one song to the next, granted there are some really good songs throughout

50yrs and its inventiveness, quirkiness, freshness and creative metamorphic influence has rarely been equalled.
Have some respect!
