gotta admit that the nostalgia is strong when i check their earlier records, but yeah it was very much a current sound when they came out

Few albums call themselves out the way the line "Nostalgia's cool but it won't help you now" does

I think Riot! is still solid in its own right, no nostalgia pandering needed.

This album lasted about 3 tracks before I binned it upon its release. 4 years have passed and sadly my opinion is still largely the same, although I've given it a full spin this time round. I love Paramore & all their other albums, but this one is just not my style at all.
I do get some nice tropical beach with a cocktail in hand vibes though.

This one still hits me really hard, but I think that's partially because it was the first album I listened to when I went on my very first underway in the Navy. I was in Rhode Island, and the record complimented the scenery so well :] even just 4 years later, there's some pretty beautiful nostalgia there

Decode was the first paramore song I ever heard. It's so good

Decode was actually one of the last Paramore songs I ever heard, but that's because I tended to adhere to the regular standard edition albums by them instead of any bonus tracks. Of course, I eventually realized that was a mistake because of how good Decode is, lol

Do you remember when twilight came out? The song was all over the radio, at least here in Melbourne
