O shit some royalty is gonna die.

Maybe it's the American king.

I got sorta bored of it and let it go. But I have it on vinyl and popped in in the other day, man its an experience if you let it engulf you.

The official YT channel released two 1 minutes clips from this tour, and here's 20 minutes in HQ. It sounds like most or all new material, so hopefully they'll have an official live release at some point. They indicated as much on the official Ulver website a few months back.

Interesting that this has grown to be one of their most popular on here

I couldn’t get through the first song the first few times I listened to it, but now I have this 5’d lol

my only real complaints are it gets almost too cheesy at times, some of the lyrics are way too on the nose, and there aren’t more songs like the closer

I feel I don't come back to it as often as I thought I would. Maybe it'll happen when the unavoidable next Ulver-binge kicks in...

That would be Nattens, Wars or Themes for me.

Nattens, Bergtatt and Shadows are all easy 5’s for me and Perdition City is borderline. Can’t go wrong with this band.

I think I have this and perdition 5’d. Messe and Shadows are really close too. I need to listen to the first three albums more but I love those. I’m very interested to see where they go from here. Another pop oriented album? Or do they make a major departure again? I can see the second option more than the first but who knows

more material like teachings in silence or a quick fix of melancholy would be fun

Shadows and Perdition City are forever fighting to be number one for me. Sometimes even Wars takes the spot (underrated here!). They all rule though, great band indeed.

Perdition is like... up there but I have to be in the right mood. This I can put a song or two on pretty much whenever and really enjoy it
