well this album is over 2 hours long so it was kind of necessary

plus its in this sweet thick cardboard sleeve it rules a lot

well yeah large records like that tend to have the most epic packaging, my heligoland has like crazy glitter prints on it and the sleeves have like special protective plastic sheaths and it comes with a cd and like a massive booklet and its just all so beautiful but still kind of annoying.

also i dont remember this album being that long haha but i only listned once

uncompressed digital files are currently the most accurate reproduction of sound we have

but this album has so much surface noise already that the vinyl just makes it sound that much cooler

that may be so but it doesn't sound as good to me

vinyl sounds most organic for me

but actually that only goes for certain things. old school hip hop on vinyl, lots of electronic, lofi stuff, noisy stuff of any genre all sounds best on vinyl to me but vinyl doesnt really complement metal all that much

i have over a hundred records and i get mixed results

some things sound cooler on vinyl, some sound terrible, it really just depends. tbh i mostly collect because i like physical media and iconography and i think theyre cool.
