I think it's my favorite as well. Night is the New Day set the bar high for my expectations but this somehow shattered those. The Fall of Hearts is also outstanding and I find myself either listening to DEK or TFOH the most on a regular basis and sometimes Viva Emptiness in the winter. This is all regarding new Katatonia though, Dance of December Souls is still m/

Perhaps this was the best modern Katatonia album. Has a very overall grey feel to it like the album color portrays. Like a sterile abandon city with this gloomy atmosphere painted across it.
