Perhaps they have, but
Now the ears don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

Even so many listens that I should've been completely sick of it, this album remained interesting. I don't know if anything else will ever scratch the same itch. Virulent Depravity is the closest I've heard

This album sounds fresh every time I hear it tbh, can't imagine it (or any SoP) getting old. Wish these guys would get back together for a reunion show or some shit. I'd kill for a new album too.

Yeah. As far as squeaky-clean, noodly tech goes, this is the peak.

you think this is better than dasein?

Yeah, I wasn't sure for a while. Dasein has better production but this just has endless replay value thanks to the more adventurous songwriting.

Definitely better than Dasein. I like The Afterthought Ecstasy better than Dasein too tbh, but for me First Fragment just doesn't compare to SoP.
Although I'm not sure if that was specifically addressed @ Jac or just a general question lol

Agreed with Jac, technically they're on a par but SoP wins at songwriting

Dasein got old really quickly for me, unlike this. Not sure why.
