And I’m 22. First heard this in 2016 after casually checking out Junk.
I’m a little outside the age range of people for whom this made a “generational impact” I suppose. I think that idea in itself is wearing a little thin in the 2020s.

Yup I think that was my freshman year. Ages ago. And now here we are

Midnight City came out the year after I graduated and it was still a hit but I’m certain if it had come out when I was in grade 10 or 11 it would have been a core memory track

was shown Midnight City in my first yr too, and i am so grateful to have heard (probably) the absolute bare minimum of electronic music for it not to get any formative traction whatsoever
new tracks remind me of everything vapid about this, so we'll see how the whole album goes lol
