Re-release is God tier, this production stinks. The original sounds like Haake is hitting a trash can and the whole thing just sounds really off.

Bizarre that the re-release isn't on Spotify. I thought that was the version that the band saw as the "real version".

I mean, the guitar tone is slightly fuller on re-release but that's about it. The drums being replaced by programmed ones plus slightly more robotic/montone vox including more compression, doesn't really make it an improvement over this for me. Besides that, I like the natural sounding drums on this and the slightly floppy/muddy guitar tone. Still sounds powerful. Compare Spasm on both versions - I'd say it even sounds a bit heavier on the original due to the muddy nature of the guitars. That said, re-release is solid and I quite enjoy it, but for different reasons.
