I only heard this once and it was pretty stellar. Not sure why I haven't revisited it. The average is god-tier.

Too many discarded condoms, kelp that smells acidic, dog shit. All the usual.

C'mon Constellation release a single already! I want to hear the new album so badly. It's coming out in late September. Although, I guess Godspeed isn't really a typical band so you never know what they're going to do.

Have Godspeed ever released a single? That doesn't sound right
After further investigation, they did release a shortened version of We Drift Like Worried Fire as a 7" but I think that's it

you don't need a single to send one of your songs to a publication for streaming.

It sounds silly to think about this band releasing singles but technically they usually do release a song off the album before it's released. Like with the last album they released ''Peasantry...'' And I don't want to hear anything off the new record before it comes out unless it's officially released. I avoided the preview video, too.

Pretty sure nearly every band releases singles now, regardless of what level of popularity they are and how long each of their tracks are.
Recently decided this was my favorite Godspeed, very close with F#A#.

Their albums seem to be made to listen to in sequence from start to end. They seem to care a lot about putting the tracks in a particular order. I think even when it feels jagged or like it doesn't flow well, it was probably intentional.
