The more I listen to this the more I'm convinced it's far and away their best. Might need to bump this up.

Wake is my least fav, to be honest. Still a high 4 though.

Most people agree with you, but I have so much attachment to that album

Not as good a Exxasens or If These Trees Could Talk, but not bad. Vocals are really bad though, post rock and post metal simply don't mix with vocals, they just don't...if any then some soothing moans or something, not screaming or growling. The clean vocals on Release sound really great though, if they kept those vocals throughout...perhaps, clean instrumental would be best though.

Depends really. It's all just personal opinion. I prefer Exxasens as they are, to me at least, a lot more varied, have a much cleaner approach to their sound (without the need for distortion, though I'm not saying there isn't any), just like If These Trees Could Talk. Generally I'm not such a huge fan of too much noise in the background. Sure, use millions of instruments if you want, the more the better, but I prefer a clean sound. Rosetta lack that, so I guess it's not for me. The harsh vocals really don't help on that front at all.

uhh there's more distortion on anything if these trees could talk and exxasens have done, the distortion is really light, a lot of people complained about it (not including me)

makes me wonder if you were even listening to this
