Eww Genesis...
J/k. This is the first time I've heard any of their albums, and I'm liking what I'm hearing so far

The closest a prog rock concept album ever got to capturing the feel of an opera. The theatrics and the story have put this above the other Gabriel-era output over the years for me, even though SEBTP and Foxtrot are both arguably more interesting compositionally.

Carpet Crawlers is soul magic in full flow.

This is my dad's favourite album ever and after 10 years of trying it has finally clicked (double albums always harder to get in to for me).
This sounds more like solo-Gabriel stuff.

My dad would think this was complete and utter bollocks.
