The closest a prog rock concept album ever got to capturing the feel of an opera. The theatrics and the story have put this above the other Gabriel-era output over the years for me, even though SEBTP and Foxtrot are both arguably more interesting compositionally.

Carpet Crawlers is soul magic in full flow.
