If you weren't in "the scene" at the time this came out, you're probably not going to like it.

self estime.

@Snide: Definately an improvement, but I still wouldn't listen to this. As I said before, if people want an actual great Trancecore/Eletrocore/whateverthefuckyoucallthis album listen to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' All That We Have Now.

"Calc, don't bother with this band wtf!"
If I criticise a band without giving them a try then I'm no better than people like thetruelment666 on the previous page. The worst that can happen is that I've wasted my time.

@Mortimus What's your problem?
@Calculating That's better. And yeah, good point.
|
| |
"Calc the best band in that genre is Enter Shikari and the rest is pretty much terrible."
Since Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' album which I've mentioned above is like crack to me while I rarely listen to Enter Shikari, I debate this statement :]
|
| |
@Futures: Probably not, it's probably the most love or hate album I like but I can't imaging you like it. If you're curious, this is the best song to start with (despite it being of their latest EP): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tss8EmoLp60

If you don't like this, there's almost no way you'll like FNLILV.

This is objectively simplified, cliche'd, and otherwise monotonous. I'm sorry if I offended you (@Snide) but there is such thing as subjectivity. Nothing wrong with going on the subjective side here and there. So you really are okay in my book.
Why can't I not sound like a fucking neck beard mayng

"If you don't like this, there's almost no way you'll like FNLILV."
Yet someone I defy this statement.

"Yet someone I defy this statement."
Huh?
|
| |
@Diamondize: I ment to type "Yet somehow I defy the statement", can't type today :/
|
| |
Oh, I assumed you would like this since they aren't really all that different. Both are pretty simple and catchy.
|
| |
@Diamondize: For me despite them being in the same genre, there's a massive quality gap between the this (and rest of the bands of the genre) to FALILV and enough differences to separate them. FALILV take this style to the extreme and pull it off in a more catchy, strongly written and overbearing/energic matter. The extreme autotune in FALILV's case is overbearing and extreme it becomes a perfect mix with their style, with them synths being siren like and the rest of the band play and feed of them with playful licks. How they come together makes everything so energic and relentless yet the album is varied and extremely memorable since FALILV make the songs have their own little touches to make then individual and know when to try something else making the pacing and flow of their album much more superior to something like this. Note that these arguments only apply to their album All That We Have Now only, since their old material is no better then this.

Just my opinion of course.

@CalculatingInfinity I see where you're coming from dude. I actually never listened to any of their
albums, gotta check those out.

absolute classic right here
|
| |
@Diamondize: All That You Have Now is the only one you should bother with since their eariler material is meh and bland while their Rave Up Tonight EP has only 3 new songs. Hope you enjoy it.
