In terms of impact, Sad Wings is the better album. On a personal level, I enjoy Painkiller more.

Hard riffs of fury, M/.

PK is arguably better than quite a few post-SC albums imo.
|

Painkiller is a bit too over the top at times

Time will tell how it holds up for me.

Painkiller is basically all of the cheesiness of 80's metal smashed up into one disc, and that's why I love it.

KK sure knew how to riff.

Richie isn't that bad, but he ain't KK.
|

Some comparisons shouldn't be made man.
Anyways, leads weren't KK's forte imo, he was more of a riff guy. His leads kinda complimented the music, but Tipton was always the main lead man for the Priests.
Both Tipton and Blackmore are in my Top 10 lead players, so it's all cool.
KK is in my Top 10 rhythm players. JP is prob the only band that might have one of my Top 10 lead players and one of my Top 10 rhythm players. Megadeth is the only other band I can think of that might have that as well.

Riffs > leads

Shoulda known you'd say that one day Nero.

The riff must be obeyed.

Saying Painkiller is better than this is questionable, to say the least.

"Richie isn't that bad, but he ain't KK."
KK wasn't even half of the player Blackmore was.
|

Shoulda known manosg would make his retort.
I already expressed my points in the previous page, so I leave the debating to you guys.
Ofc, I'm pretty sure Blackmore tops any guitarist in manosg's eyes, just as Iommi tops any in Nero's eyes.

Blackmore's definitely better imo, but I do prefer KK to Tipton
|
| |
Tipton's lead tone > KK's lead tone imo
It's never seemed like a debatable point to me, but opinions.

Glenn and KK are actually among my main influences on guitar, so I like to think I know my Priest guitars.
