Back in pre-Covid days you’d go to a shitty college bar and it’s like *drake song* *drake song* *migos song* “COUNTRY ROADS, TAKE ME HOME....” *drake song* *96 song* “COME ON, EILEEN, TA-LOO-RYE-AYE !!” *drake song* *drake song* *maroon 5 song* and then...

Circus sounds commence. Everyone looks around at each other, for just a second, in silent agreement that, yes, we know every word to this song. and then...

“Oh...
well imagine...”

the world ends

Yeah pretty much know every word to this without listening to it for a good couple years, same as Three Cheers by MCR and Casually Dressed by FFAF

This album is so catchy and memorable with really unique lyrics. Band's career is a huge missed opportunity.

Yeah, there were some good ideas on Pretty Odd but it was clear they were being pulled in different directions and not all wanting the same thing anymore. Even this album has two different styles, with kind of disco pop punk followed by almost show tunes in the second half

Havnt cared for the band since vices and virtues, enjoyed a couple tracks off each of the next couple albums but this past album was an official final nail in the coffin. This album and pretty odd were phenomenal but as it was already said, you can see the stylistic cracks in the band. The half of the band that broke off and released the album take a vacation wasn’t bad either if you enjoyed the pretty odd style!

Prefer the two after this, but this still has some undeniable classics. Vices needs more love in my opinion though. Such a solid pop record.

Wish that too weird was better, because Far too young to die is one of their best songs. Dallon Weekes got so screwed over. He was the best part of that lineup. You guys like his IDK project?

@Isil He go so screwed over. The good news is, I really dig his IDK project! The new album sounds like an even poppier rendition of the older PATD! style. I highly recommend it. Honestly it is the best release to come out of panic since Vices haha.

I've adored IDK's stuff since hearing Modern Day Cain. They've yet to release a bad song. I'd go as far to say I like them even more than Panic!

we gotta get someone to write up a review for their newest release so we can hop to a more current thread to discuss this haha

Page break. I am talking about I Don't Know How They Found Me, which is fronted by ex-PATD member Dallon Weekes.
