I'm pretty disappointed in myself tbh. I've been listening to La Dispute for years and this is like a better version of them.. how the hell did I miss this?!

la dispute are heavily influenced by these guys but it'd be just wrong to call these guys a better version of them

I went through their entire discography again in preparation to listen to the new album. I know everyone seems to like this one the most but my order:
A to B > Catch For Us > It's all Crazy! > Ten Stories > Brother, Sister

the Floyd threads haven't been the same

My presence is normally pretty vital for anything good to happen.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I see "christian" thrown around here and there. Is this a christian band, and I'm just not seeing it? Seems more broad than that.
|
| |
Is cosmic pie better than my grandmother's? Choose your words carefully.
|
| |
The members of this band are Christians, but they have respect and strong interest in other religions and spirituality from what I gather

aye yoyo lives
@Cosmic bit of a contentious issue there. They are members of the Christian faith definitely (or the Weiss brothers are at least) and Aaron's lyrics do incorporate a lot of Christian belief, but then again they also mix in a lot of Buddhism, Arabic prayers and other stuff of the like - just calling them a Christian band is dumbing it down a bit
