Album owns so hard. I can't wait to hear the new album, especially since their acquiring Caleb from Mare on drums. That dude is awesome.

They posted a blog on Myspace (god I hate saying that), and they're sort of on an extended mid-album writing/recording break. Who knows how long that will go on for.
You can hear tiny clips of new songs on a video posted on their myspace (not from Ritual of Names "the song" either, I don't think), if you care to inquire.

Oh, they actually updated the Ritualofnames blogspot account? They hadn't updated for almost a year, but it's good to know that they're still writing.
And apparently (I know a guy who is friends with Caleb) Caleb and Drew are pretty much doing all the writing on this one. I have my suspicions that the slightly slower pace of some of their newer stuff is Caleb's doing. I really like it, but I am a tad skeptical about whether it's going to be as good as As the Roots Undo. Mainly because Caleb is used to writing with Tyler Semrick-Palmateer in Mare, who is one of my favourite vocalists ever and can easily make any song interesting by himself. I love Drew and Kathy's vocals, but neither of them can compare with Tyler's.
That was just a totally random fyi.
Still, I trust Ritual of Names will be amazing.
