best melodeath album of all time

Not my usual tipple, but this one really hits the spot when I just want hard riffs that are catchy as fuck. The vocals are vicious as well.

I can see why it wouldn’t satisfy everyone, but it scratches an itch I can’t get elsewhere

Amazing album that I've always held near and dear. One of my favorite vocal performances of all time here also! Massive RIP for Trevor! In terms of musicians passing I think this RIP hits the hardest. In the past year my other favorite Trevor, comedian Trevor Moore passed away also and right next to Norm Macdonald those deaths really felt very close to the feeling of losing a very close friend. Will most definitely jam in his honor

Yeah, this RIP hits home for me too. This was actually the very first album my mom didn't let me buy when I was a kid because of the pentagram on the back of the booklet, lol... but I still heard it online anyway, and it was one of my biggest gateways to extreme metal.

I don't normally review older albums anymore unless they're part of one of my discog reviews, but I might make an exception and review this one as a tribute to Trevor

Do it. The album deserves it. The man deserves it.
