Carcass has insane guitar hooks, and I really like the vocalist.

I like the new album. Nothing groundbreaking, but far from bad. Steer and Walker seem to have the formula for eternal life, suckers never get old and play like they are on their teen years.

I miss Owen on the drums, that would be my only gripe so far with the album.

I feel bad about his condition he suffered that put him out of the lineup. However, new drummer is up to snuff.

Is a shame the actual condition of owen, he's one of my favorite drummers

Bill Steer the legend! A pioneer of two extreme music genres. This album has heavy galloping riffs and melody. Bill never disappoints.

The lead work by the duo is impressive. Amott's melodic solos are a very nice touch to the album. Steer's lead work is under appreciated. His solos on Heartwork and Carnal Forge are excellent.

Crushing drumming by Ken Owen throughout, with Great fills on This Mortal Coil.

The lyrics on the album are well written and quite the change. With the exception of two songs, Jeff and Carcass have left behind the vocabulary drawn from medical dictionaries.

Album production is excellent.
