I'd kill for them to play the title track next time I see them

"and playing the whole thing front to back is completely different. it would take so much energy and
focus, especially the second half where things get all cohesive and basically never let up... plus the
emotional weight of the album for Bannon is probably very heavy."

This true although Bannon is the kind of person who lets all the anger and negative energy inside of
him go out when on a concert, he said it himself, because he doesn't like "walking around with a lot
of negative energy, so it's kind of like an exorcism of sorts"

Granted, though, I doubt anything going on with him today would be bad enough to warrant so much
energy out like that, and I wouldn't want something bad for him, and even if I did I'd want them to
make another record like this, not a live performance that I wouldn't be able to go to anyway lol

Atleast he's married now but he says he's still angry about alot of things, the fact that he sudders everytime he sees himself in the mirror, that the earth is constantly trying to purge people off of it everyday etc etc

Ah so you saw his documentary too eh

I quite like it, it made me start really admiring him and what he is more than just what he does

Yeah, before that I knew nothing about him, and now I know about him jumping off bridges as a kid and shattering his knee, being bed ridden for 6 months and gaining 50 pounds. I kinda feel like watching it again now lol

I watched like 10 times just for the way it was shot, it's beautiful looking and i'm a bitch for that kinda thing lol

I like how he's not really an overconfident nor even an under confident type of person, he's just kinda... "Ok this is what I can do, it's not a lot but I'll give a shot" type of guy

Kinda funny he originally wanted to be the bass player so he wouldn't have to be paid attention to, and now he's the front man of one of the biggest and most influential bands in hardcore. I kinda forget how that came about, maybe he didn't say

He doesn't say how it happens, he just says he doesn't like his look and that it's ironic since he's the frontman and shit

That's one thing that kinda bugged me though, I mean when you're in a band, you kinda have the expect the possibility that you could get famous, and as the frontman you'd have to see your face a lot

I mean I'm sure he never expected to be so huge and no one really should, but still. Doesn't matter much though, just a pet peeve

I know what you mean, he is a very unlikely frontman but does so much with so little. And somehow does an awesome job, also with a little help from Nate

Why just Nate? you mean as in backing vocalist and stuff? I think Kurt has been backing vocalist more times than Nate lol

I was gonna say Kurt too, I really wasn't sure, I kinda forgot about all the vocals he did. I've just seen Nate do alot of the backing vocals live. I was wrong, my bad

Jake is the nicest frontman I've ever met.

it's fine dude

If you meant Jane Doe, yea it's mostly Nate, but as far You Fail Me and on content goes I think Kurt
has been backing vocalist more, but I wouldn't really be sure

He definitely has bigger roles sometimes than anything Nate has done though (You Fail Me, Cruel Bloom,
Damages, etc), or I THINK so

The problem is that I haven't seen enough live footage of them to tell the difference between their voices

Good driving jam yeah

The problem is that I haven't seen enough live footage of them to tell the difference between
their voices

Huh, I always thought they had pretty distinguishable voices, and performances. Nate's voice is a
little lower and he's usually screaming, while Kurt has this very sludgy performance and he sounds
huskier

Sometimes, though, when they're yelling at the same time it's pretty hard to tell them apart for
some reason, hahaha, but yeah.

Idk, that's just me

I just never investigated it, so all I knew is that they both did vocals occasionally, I just recognize some of Nates vocals
