They are very, very talented, but just lack originality.
I consider originality to be a facet of talent. If they lack a such a thing, they are (by my definition), less talented.

Mmm..... Originality is more derivative of creativity than talent....

Yea i was thinking about that when I posted, but I figure that you can be both really talented and uncreative at the same time.

Think of it like this: Trivium is really technically talented, but have lost (or never had) any talent in creative songwriting.

I wish more intelligent people like you existed!
it means a lot to hear that on sputnik. most of the people on here are very critical of other people's tastes. its all music and it's all available, so lets just enjoy it.

It's so funny how many people hate this album.
It's not a 1.
But it's still poor.

60 pages, and maybe 20 (semi) positive comments

Oh, and screw the big four.

Metallica, Kreator, Testament, and Megadeth should be the big four.

Anthrax are poopy.

I like Anthrax but they shouldn't be in the big four.

Big Four was used only to refer to US thrash bands.

Kreator was part of the Big Three, which referred to German thrash bands.

So saying Kreator should've been in the Big Four is stupid.

Metallica, Kreator, Testament, and Megadeth should be the big four.

There's a reason that Slayer is usually in there...

I wasn't aware of that.

Why the hell wasn't I informed about a big three?!?

I would agree with the whole Big Four thing if Testament was in place of Anthrax.
