Okay ya insanely good show. Punish - Ptolemaea - Gibson Girl - Tempest took up like almost 30 mins and it felt like one song… the way they performed that was so fucking cool. I don’t really think I’ve ever seen anything like that. Just how seamlessly they transitioned from song to song. It all seriously almost felt like a single song. And fuck man it was HEAVY. I love the bits of restructuring they did to the songs. Like that bit I mentioned was like as heavy as something you’d expect at a metal show. I’m really hoping she’s recording some of this tour because I would buy the fuck out of a live performance vinyl. I was wondering how exactly she’d pull off some of these arrangements and the answer is to go into a bunch of killer post rock crescendos

Tbh, as much as I love songs like Ptolemaea and Tempest, and a lot of Perverts, a combo of all three would slay. I’d never want her to completely get rid of songs like Fuck Me Eyes or Nettles, but seeing her go in a heavier and darker direction would be really interesting. I was never really that into the whole storytelling aspect so idk if something heavier would fit but I can’t help but want her version of something like Abyss by Chelsea Wolfe.

And the music between sets was a bunch of Alice In Chains so that really put me in a good mood
