Dusk took a couple of risks. Thousands of Miles Between Us and Murk and Marrow are unlike anything they’ve ever done imo

Also the more by the numbers stuff were still executed brilliantly. Single Tear has one of the best moments in their discog at the 2 minute mark, that track, Arkhipov Calm, and I Can Tell You About Pain are all top tier imo

Those songs are both skips for me most of the time too, I do enjoy some of the more by the numbers tracks, but broken by light and cannibals are the highlights for me

just saw them last night too btw, best fucking live band. They only changed one song from the set since the last time I saw them but I don’t give a shit. Incredible.

tho I gotta say I wish they’d cut Worms Will Feed. You could literally fit 3 or 4 more songs in the time it takes them to play that track with the extended breakdown.

and more off You Fail Me. They only played the t/t and Heartless. I’d shit if they played something like Drop Out or Hanging Moon.

And I guess we’re really not getting a tour for this record? It’s been damn near two years and they only played two shows on the east coast. I guess it’s probably hard to get everybody together. Chelsea is about to drop a new record and a tour along with it. Ben Chisholm is obviously with her too. Brodsky with his million side projects, Ben too, and Kurt with all of his production.

I think they’d rake in cash for a tour like that. Chelsea is probably a bigger draw than Converge at this point

I know I’m in the minority here but worms will feed is wildly underrated and one of their heaviest songs and I wish they’d play it more

I love the song, but they’ve played it every time I’ve seen them lol. They have played the same 5 Axe to Fall songs too.

That’s so wild, I’ve only ever seen them play it like 2 or 3 of the probably 7 or 8 times I’ve seen em

I think this was number 5 for me and I’m almost positive they played it every time.

The show they did with Uniform, Full of Hell, and Thou was pretty much perfect. They played I Won’t Let You Go and Eve. I totally did not expect them to bust out those tracks

Wow. Lot of differing takes on this one. Gotta try listening to all of it, since the t/t and Viscera of Men are absolutely chill inducing
