A lot of people I've talked to agree that they're still fun to see, I do always find it easier to nitpick/notice bad vocals when sitting at home watching a youtube recording than actually in a live setting, so it could be less ass.

9 and up is all golden
the last minute of Little Snakes is def one of the best on the album
Rivet is good, I feel like it's probably just their weakest closer and I never listen to Gift Horse so yeah lol

Little Snakes is an absolutely incredible song

Can't vocalists just keep learning, practicing and bettering their technique? Like, put in the work. That's literally your instrument in a band. And you don't have a 9-to-5 (at least afaik Rody doesn't have one), that is your job. Find a good teacher. I don't know, maybe Rody does work on it a lot and this is the best he can do.
Btw they just played some festival in Québec (seems like the audience didn't care for them?). This little snippet sounds like ass but maybe it's just the recording? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWjQBNJ3-5I

I was at the show in Quebec and the crowd was lame. Keep in mind the people were there for Lamb of God and Fit For an Autopsy (chug, groove, breakdown, pit and all). It was also a 1 week and a half festival with big pop, electro, rap, rock, punk and every other genre, not a lot were there for them and dislike the "technicality" of them if I can say.
I thought they were good and enjoyed their set, but whitout Rody screaming it definitely makes a difference (back screaming vocal were not really heard early in the set). A PTH fan would have fun, everyone else might not.

They got the Callous Daoboys to support them on this next tour, that will be a hell of a lot of fun. Just hope Rody's voice holds up by the time he gets to my city lol.

Unfortunately sold the tickets after all, boys; there's like three stacked metal shows coming here in the week surrounding PTH's show, and I gotta see those. Sold them at a STEEP discount to a friend, though. If they ever come to my damn state, though, I'm not missing it.

Time has proven to me this is their best album. Honestly the only other one that stands up to it is Kezia, the songwriting on all the other ones is just not up to par (none are bad though). Fortress to me especially now just feels so mindless compared to this.

At release I felt this might actually do the unthinkable and top Fortress for me, and so far I'm still tempted to 5 this. I'm just not getting tired of it.

You people are on crack if you think this is on par with kezia and fortress

I have always been confused by the love for Fortress. It sounds like they recorded a bunch of 10 second songs and stitched them together. Yeah it’s technically impressive but the songwriting is so weak compared to Kezia

I've been a fan since Kezia so it holds a special place in my heart, but this and Volition I would consider their best albums. I love Fortress and I don't really think it sounds stitched together but it is overrated.

this one of the few bands where my ranking has def just changed over time
Kezia was 1 until Volition came out which easily became my new favorite
Voltion era is also where Kezia shifted below Scurrilous
Palimpsest came out and it felt like something at least on par with Scurrilous but too soon to say and now I think it really might be their best so
