not just as a singer, but as a part of The Ocean. definitely sounds more at home here.

Loic is insane, I wish he was getting more praise than he does outside ocean circlejerks like us

Loic has a couple cringy spots on this but is otherwise solid.

"they have more consistent and arguably better vocals and songwriting, better production and for my taste also better guitar tones"

Phanerozoic vs Precambrian.

Agree with flug that the two releases meets different tastes. Both with high quality, I personally love the violins on Precambrian but overall I find it a bit more tiring. This wins in ebb and flow. I have both with the same rate on their own reasons. Going to check the rest of the discog. Worthy band!

Precambrian is hurt by the fact it's nowhere near as focused as on here, and is more all over the place. Having just Loic helps a lot instead of having multiple singers contributing.
