It is definitely much better being played in one go. The transition and flow between the tracks is the albums strongest point.

that's exactly how I listen to it, I don't try to jam just one song and if I do it's Aftermath

I accidently had this album on shuffle and Risen came on after Aftermath. It was all matters of wrong. How this album is constructed really makes this a whole level better.

If you count out Towards Dawn, Alma Mater is at the very center of the album, the song feels like the core of the record and has the main chorus in it, if you look at the entire album as one song, you can look at Alma Mater being the "chorus" of the entire record

Just touching on some of the Converge talk earlier, but Converge fucking suck, and I doubt it will ever click with that band and I'll forever be scratching my head thinking what all the fuss is about.

Anyway these guys absolutely ripped the tent they were in at Download this past weekend a new one.Easily one of the sets of the weekend if not THE set of the weekend. The atmosphere they create is ridiculous and Eva is one of the most captivating lead singers I've ever seen. If these guys tour near you lot you must see them.

lol you're not breaking anything to me because your statement is false

you can not like Converge and I definitely understand the band is not everyone's cup of tea, but to deny the band's influence, legacy, and importance and to say Converge flat out suck is just wrong

People who act like their opinion are fact should be embarrassed of themselves, pulling yr head out of yr ass and getting some fresh air might do wonders for ya

damn relax, just some light ribbing going on on a music website, obviously Groundking can think Converge sucks and that's perfectly fine, I think it's a bit of a crazy statement but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. I think we're both just having a bit of fun with some ribbing of each other. There's definitely no anger or anything and of course our opinions aren't fact.
