he also listened to Pet Sounds once and started labeling Beatles songs as knockoffs of it. we should only rec him anime soundtracks to keep him distracted while the rest of us have the real discussions
|
| |
that was an accurate and historically cited knockoff labelling, which makes it approx 2.5x more valuable than any take you've ever contributed to this asylum shelter of a website
the only real discussion is re. how paul died

this site peaked when I pointed out how Slowdive fucks up the chord progression for Souvlaki Space Station the first time it plays

Johnny has some bad takes but The Beatles shamelessly taking bits of Pet Sounds for their own work isn't one of em tbh. they more or less admitted it themselves iirc
but also weird thing to focus on after hearing Pet Sounds for the first time instead of like, saying how fucking good it is
|
| |
this was after like 4 straight spins of pet sounds followed by a recap jam of revolver a couple of weeks later so i trust my methods more than any of y'all as per
+ the rowan view of a bad take = not taking trent reznor's ragehaze seriously and/or something to do with the national and retirement homes, so hard pass on that judgement

Here There and Everywhere is a fairly standard McCartney song with ooohs added
|
| |
*not just any oohs*
and since as u pointed out they are the only distinctive part of the track it is 150%% reasonable to base the entirety of a judgement on them
