I keep meaning to listen to this because I loved the first one. Is this one better than Labyrinth Constellation?

Both full lengths are aging really well so far. Shit, I might have to as well.

Vox make me think of some kind of disgusting giant space slug.

^Agreed, the higher pitched vocals carry so much emotion in them. Especially on Static Shattering, it's like a sentient robot beginning to understand existence and going through the stages of grief. The lows are good, but I feel the pain and anger so much more in the highs, which are really, really good. I dont' think the vocalist (Will I think his name is?) knows how good his higher stuff really is.

A good 80/20 higher pitches to lows would make this a more emotive experience to me.

The low vocals are great, its contrast with the music is one of the most interesting elements of their original sound

the vocalist has got one of the most fucked styles in the game. They're horrific in the best possible way
