Actually, Pure Comedy is really not a bad place to start Father John Misty's catalogue from. It may be a tad more bloated than his other releases, but it is also quintessentially his. Sort of something he's been reaching towards all this time. It's just that he may have been more successful with his efforts on Honeybear.
