White Ferrari sounds so transcendental

Seigfried is perfection on every listen, from the refrains, to the ambient riffs, to the spoken word.

The spoken word in Siegfried is stupid af, and there's a lot of good sounds in that song but it doesn't flow well at all

Pretty damn meaningless.

White Ferrari is awesome but it starts so abruptly that it sounds like it clips the first word

idk seigfried's spoken word is probably one of the best points of the album for me imo. it's like taking a trip into frank's psyche or something like that.

a lot of this is indeed pretty dull. Like he knows which instruments sounds good which is why people do enjoy this, but at the same time he doesn't know to effectively arrange those sounds for shit, or else he just doesn't care. there are flashes of brilliance but there's so much boring shit surrounded. and the guy has lost his edge for singing I swear to fuck he just does not sound as good anymore and it's kinda sad.

nikes is lame

hmmm. Why is your album rating a 3.5 then if you have such strong negative opinions of it?

I used to be unabashedly obsessed with frank, and was reeeeeally stoked for this before it came out, especially when he talked about his Beatles influence, but the more I look at this the less brilliant it looks

It’s less that I hate this and more that I’m disappointed by this

The first half of this album, through "nights," is like the most emotionally affecting suite of music ever conceived for me

Its a solid albeit less focused followed up to channle orange. Like the new glassjaw he clearly made this album in a very short window despite it taking 3000 years to release

never thought I'd see glassjaw mentioned in a Frank Ocean thread.
