Album grew on me a lot, I think it might be interchangeable with Vital and Cities for my fave.

The more I listen to Harbinger, the more I love it. It's just no "*Fin"

Did it even need to be? I don't think so.

I still think that's one of the weaker songs on this.

Probably in my top 10 favorite bands. Not so much because they had top 10 talent, but because they were so consistent, never wrote a bad album, and always made their music have meaning.

Hear hear Sowing. They also played my 2nd favourite live gig of all time with their special 'Evening with...' set.

Following a magnificent 12 year run, Floridian rockers Anberlin go out on their own terms with their 7th & final studio LP 'Lowborn'. A sonic combination of their previous 2 albums, the quintet are as bold, creative & ambitious as ever, delivering a record that is raw & hard-hitting at times, while atmospheric & electronic at others. It's not exactly a focused collection of 10 tracks, but it's ultimately a satisfying farewell. Stephen Christian majestically proclaims on closer 'Harbinger': "We'll live forever". And that Anberlin will, through the gift that is music. Recommended Tracks: Hearing Voices, We Are Destroyer, Atonement & Losing It All.

Dark Is the Way or whatever it's called, has a few decent tracks but the rest are pretty boring and forgettable.

Stranger Ways was the song that got me into them (DAMMIT!!! SO LATE!!!)

I've been constantly listening to it for a year now and really digging these guys.

So bummed they called it quits...

Yeah, I have been obsessively listening to them ever since Lowborn came out lol. Bought Cities and New Surrender (they were the easiest to find in Europe) and now I'm waiting for Vital and Dark... to arrive (YEEEEEAH!)

I love Cities, Vital and Lowborn most, there are so many beautiful tunes and the lyrics are so essential. Although some are dark, a lot of Stephen's lyrics are very inspiring and uplifting in many ways.

Yeah, so true they might be dark but they hit home in a positive way. I love Cities the most probably because it came out at a time when I was struggling with issues in the themes of the album. up to this day, it's one of may favorite albums of all time.

Yes, I can relate a lot to some of the themes on Cities as well as Lowborn. Nevertheless, they were very consistent and I hope they will reunite one day (seem like the kind of band who can produce a good record even after a 5-10 year break).
