its kind of cool how no matter how big the band got they always remained down to earth and very close to their fans, they were literally like the biggest band in the world at one time and they never acted like they were elite [2]

"Man, the 20th anniversary box set looks insane"
i'm legit considering it

While I wouldn't mind a new song with like heavy guitars and shit, She Couldn't is a great track

Just preordered the super deluxe califragilicious boxed set — $200 is steep, but it looks completely worth it to me. Bunch of new tracks, Hybrid Theory EP on vinyl?!? I didn’t have to give it a second thought, my cursor immediately hovered over the pre-order button.

The nostalgia...

Same here Larkin. There’s too much greatness not to get it

Didn't expect She Couldn't to make me so emotional but damn.... it's like being pulled back in time.
I keep going back and forth on how well it would have fit in on Hybrid Theory and where it would have been placed. Do you end the album on it? Pushing me Away is a fantastic closer, but is this better? I don't know.
Definitely getting the box set.

That track feels unfinished. They could have made it into something great though, if they had focused on it.

It’s pretty damn great idk

Can’t fucking wait to get that boxed set in my hands.

Same here lark. I was just starting to binge their discog again like two days before the announcement. I haven’t heard any of the demos so I’m hyped to hear them for the first time and in good quality

The high rating are mostly from people who grew up listening to it I assume. I had a phase with this band but it didn't last long. Still you have to respect legends.

The production on this album alone is almost enough to 5 it, legit set the standard for mainstream rock for a good decade at least and still holds up today.

Agreed, this album has held up very well, especially for what it is

As far as the nu metal scene goes, this stands near the top. Still find it a little dated. Chester's parts are great, but Mike on the other hand... His delivery sure is clunky sometimes man.

I think I like the way P.O.D went about this sound back in the day better. Just dug the other influences they brought to the table. It's obviously not as important for rock as LP though.
