Really? Damn. I suppose it matters where, though, too. I mean it makes me feel better, but my friend there right now did say specifically that Google's looking for a 3.7-3.8. I'm sure talent shines through GPA, but I'm not comfortable enough yet to declare myself an exception or that talented.

My university (college for u americans) course lets me go to the US for a year and work in a professional music studio. Fuckin bossin'

Pre school was completely separate to primary school for me. I'm not very familiar with the US system

Yeah, definitely. I went to the job fairs and everything, but no one's really looking for freshmen. I have a mentor (sort of) who told me I'd be better off developing an Android app or something this summer, and I figure I can do some Java work for my dad too. It still doesn't beat an internship at a respected institution but it's better than nothing, I suppose.
