this and winterkalte are both s-tier for me. i think we it's ok to consider nacht and einsamkeit "duds" (i love them, but i understand), however this felt like such a nice extension/finish of what he was doing with those 3 albums

I appreciate the existence of, like, Nacht and Geister because they aren't as good. Like a control group, so I know I actually do love these albums and I haven't just convinced myself that I'm into radio static to be cool.

nice, trilo. I'm really glad he came back with Die Berge after Geister. that one just never felt right. only gripe with DB is that the drums have some clear "these were programmed" moments that remind you of the edges of the screen, so to speak. overall a return to form, though.
