$500 for one of them to jerk off a solo on one of my songs? No thanks.

Unfortunately I missed that Ulcerate tour. Wish I could have seen them.

Drove 3 hours to see 'em and it was well worth it.

They're all really cool dudes as well.

Didn't even know this band was *that* popular. That's a bit of cash to grab so quickly.

I was going to see Ulcerate until my car drowned on RI's awful roads. At least I got to see/meet them in 2012.

I think they realize how rapidly their fanbase is growing, and are trying to accommodate for it, while potentially increasing their number of fans. They've come a hell of a long way in a short space of time since like circa 2009 when they were posting free downloads to their demo on the Ultimate Guitar forum (iirc).

I did a bass/acoustic cover of Tapestry of the Starless Abstract: http://youtu.be/8pmzLE7_zOw

I think it turned out pretty decent.

I was just about to give them some money, but I see they have enough already.

Thanks, NeO fans

I'm assuming after their super duper amazing fantastic [add-superlative-here] fan funded world tour. So... Around 2016 I estimate?

Yeah, that's true. Surely they would have announced it by now if that were the case? But yeah, you're probs right

Hasn't aged well at all. Went from being all about this to absolutely hating it.

First track is still great, but everything else died quickly, as you said

If I had a penny for every time I listened to "As Icicles Fall" I'd retire and be a wealthy man. But it just doesn't have the spark it used to. I actually bought this album and now I wished I never had.

"As Icicles Fall" is my favorite song here along with Plague. I only jam it once every couple weeks though so it hasn't gone stale yet.

^ for the most part. That opening track is beyond tasty though (especially the classical guitar section).

It's not exactly a 1. It's more of a 2.5-3. But the album is overrated by far so my 1 is to keep it down. It took it from a 4.1 to a 4.

So it was worth it.
