Yeah. Agreed.

"BLUEOmni decided to not add a tracklist to the db; an addiction he refuses to admit he harbours."
I have an addiction to not adding tracklists? That's an odd way to categorize why I didn't, especially since I've been doing it ever since that whole debacle.
"He realised his mistake and got mad with himself, like any addict would naturally do."
I see where you're trying to go with this, but the whole "addict" personification is so awkwardly placed.
"But instead of releasing his energy and putting it to worthwhile use (like adding tracklists: the perfect way to take out your frustrations and release tension) "
Except I fucking did and admitted to doing so in that same thread you're referencing.

Now if only you could extend that knowhow and apply it to actually adding shit properly to the db we can all get along (and no, I'm not talking about tracklists)

What am I not adding properly?

I've already had to fix up some of your additions because you don't seem to know the difference between an EP and an LP and apparently can't be bothered adding in anything apart from the year in regards to release dates

Dev, you're going to need to give examples. I have no idea what you're talking about with fixing crap.
I do see you've made Florence an EP, when I explicately made it LP. Florence is a single, packaged with 3 other remixes. It wouldn't qualify as an EP either. Not to mention, trance/techno records are distributed under guises differently. You're not generally going to find entire albums by artists, but EPs and Singles. Reason I made Florence an LP is because it's a single and is thus what you'd consider the highlight of an artist. Though, I don't see your frustration at all or why you even needed to change it (and you're not necessarly wrong in changing it).
Only thing I don't add at this point is descriptions, and the reason is because most of them don't get accepted. They're all objective, informative descriptions, and like hell I'm going write them out if they're just going be ignored in the first place.

I didn't say it did. I'm merely saying that what it qualifies as is dubious. It's a single so technically it wouldn't properly be classified under either.
As you can see here — http://www.sputnikmusic.com/editalbums.php?bandid=23455 — I classified this release as an EP (a while ago), in the same way Dev changed Florescence to an EP (so that's a bullshit argument, Dev). I never stuck to that regime clear-cut because there was no definitive classification for a single.
|
| |
And Dev, you're going to need more than one dubious example if you want to bitch about how I add music to the DB. Considering how much I've added, I'd say you're going to need at least a good dozen to make a statement.

Singles aren't a permissible format on the db anyway...
|
| |
What? I used the word twice.
I don't classify things by how close they are. It either is or it isn't. And Florescence was neither.
"Singles aren't a permissible format on the db anyway..."
Electronica singles aren't the same as, say, a single from Nicki Minaj or Coldplay. That said, they've been acceptable for me (after all, even your beloved Dev accepted it). And looking around the DB, they're accepted a lot. So yes, they're acceptable.

Because it's music and this a site where you rate and organize music you've listened to.

Dude, I answered your question. It's music, that's why I added it. What more is there to understand?
|

You have a way with words, foxxxy.

What's the chances of me enjoying this
|

Considering the large amount of people who love it, I'd say a good chance.

Well seeing as how you classified the latter as an LP........

It's like talking to a 5 year old, not just the lack of intelligence but the horrible justifications as well
"It's a single so I made it an LP, but it's definitely not an EP"
|
| |
I said it was NEITHER! Do you not listen!?
Speaking of 5 year-olds, the irony of displacing your own childishness on me is hilarious. Your "I know you are but what am I" attitude only begs this hilarity further.
