Islands is a totally underrated album. The title track might be their best song besides Starless.

Islands is indeed, as the cover suggests, spacey and kinda go with the flow listen, which is cool af for 1971. I like it very much and for me fits me better than the previous 2 albums.

Lizard is top three for me behind this and 'Courts'. Lizard has this whoppibly dense surreal atmosphere that sucks you in like a psychedelci drug and spits you out with this flowery dizzyness once it's over....

It's a bit much, but it's good. I guess Lizard people have a different perspective lmao

Lizard is dead last from their golden era (69-81), still decent and has a some cool moments, just not quite my vibe.

yap both records next to Court blow a little ngl. Islands kind of aged better.

Speaking of psych (not prog), anyone here knows Ultimate Spinach? dope music made in 68! check the track (Ballad of) The Hip Death Godess.

Islands is underrated I think [2842]

But the most underrated KC is definitely Beat

ISLANDS is majorly underrated, and "Islands" would probably place in my Top 5 KC songs if I were forced to make such a list.

BEAT isn't great by any means, but I do prefer it to everything that came after (except for maaaaaybe THRAK).

Islands is definitely underrated, especially for songs like Sailor's Tale and Formentera Lady

While I agree that Islands is vastly underrated, it's possibly only the second most underrated of KCs studio albums. That price goes to 'the Construkction of Light' for me. such an intense, dark and in your face album on such an increidble high technical level! really doesn't deserve the Flak it gets..

Linkin Park?!? If anything Construkction might sound somehow TOOLish. But then again Tool made a whole career on the blueprint of Red, so i guess Fripp & the Boyz would also get a break on that...
